In “Walk(ing) on the Wild Side,” 14 Wisconsin Artists share their adventurous style of ‘untamed’ art through paintings, sculpture, photography, and mixed-media. This new invitational exhibition will be presented by the Plymouth Arts Center in Gallery 110 North August 12th through October 7th.
Featured artists are: Sandy Achterberg, Sheboygan; Dick Bemis, Adell; Richard Bronk, Plymouth; Angela Cantrell, Sheboygan Falls; Tim Fonk, Adell; Kristin Gjerdset, West Allis; Mary Hager, Milwaukee; Kay Jelinek, Sheboygan; Denise Presnell, Sheboygan; Mary Lee Reineking, Almond; Karen Robison, Elkhart Lake; Patrick Robison, Elkhart Lake; Jeff Stern, Madison; and Jamie Stevens, Sullivan.
The public is invited to view the show during Plymouth Arts Center’s annual fundraising event, the “Cheese Capital Jazz & Blues Crawl for the Arts” on Friday, August 12th. The Artist Meet and Greet reception will also be open to the public and will be held one week later on Friday, August 19th from 5-7 pm. Live musical entertainment will be provided by Brittany Seifert, piano, from 5-6 pm and Andrew Krueger, piano from 6-7 pm. Complimentary appetizers will be served. The presenting sponsor of Walking on the Wild Side is Van Horn Automotive.

Friday, March 27th, 6:30 PM, Tickets $5 Students, $10 Adults. Plymouth native, Annika Nelson, a student at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, will present a special senior recital as she prepares for graduation. This performance offers the greater Plymouth community an opportunity to experience the culmination of her undergraduate studies in classical guitar prior to her official graduation recital.
