Plymouth Arts Center’s Cheese Capital Jazz & Blues Crawl for the Arts will be presented, Friday, August 8, 2025, 4:30pm-Midnight. This 21st annual live music extravaganza and fundraiser features 11 fantastic bands at the PAC in the courtyard and greatroom and at 7 Plymouth clubs and restaurants. Show your support of the PAC by purchasing the 2025 Wristband; just a $10 donation. The 2025 PAC wristband also is your passport to ride the trolley free to all the venues from 6:30pm to 10:30pm This year’s participating Jazz & Blues Crawl venues are the PAC greatroom and courtyard, Antonio’s, Big Billy’s Bar & Grill, Moxie Café & Catering, Plank Road Distillery, Plymouth Tap, Turner Hall, and Wild Shots Pub & Grill.

Join us for this exciting evening of the blended arts! Festivities are kicked off at the Plymouth Arts Center, 520 East Mill, downtown Plymouth, WI at 4:30pm with continuous music from 4:30 to 9pm. PAC’s Bourbon Street Café will feature a delicious menu and cash bar until 9pm. The public is invited to view a brand-new art show in Gallery 110 North. Place your bid at our huge Silent Auction consisting of original fine art, gift baskets, gift certificates, and unique gifts donated by PAC members and friends and area businesses. Silent Auction Bidding closes at 9pm. You need not be present to win. Hop on the trolley from 6:30-10:30pm to visit all 8 venues. Wristbands and maps are available at all venues. It’s all cool, and it all happens in one night!

The Plymouth Arts Center is well-known throughout Wisconsin for its lively schedule of events showcasing local and regional visual and performing artists. Signature events include the Cheese Capital Jazz & Blues Crawl, the nationally acclaimed, “Sartori Big Cheese Drop” New Year’s Party, “Mill Street Live” summer musical series, and Paint the Towns in Fall Color, to name a few. The PAC is registered as a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit arts organization. Robert Allen, Jr. delivers a good time blues show played with tons of soul. The members of his band are true professionals. Not even stopping between tunes they lay down one groove after another, you can’t help but appreciate the passion they pump into every note. Robert’s presence takes over the stage and he always leaves his audiences with an unforgettable show!
Kate Voss and the Hot Sauce-A true variety band, Kate Voss and the Hot Sauce, pulls from Kate’s varied background of jazz, blues, pop, country, western-swing, oldies, Americana, and rockabilly. As a full-time musician, Kate has cultivated a stage presence that charms and delights folks and a voice that “Nails the authenticity of the era” with tunes from Brenda Lee to Nancy Sinatra and Patsy Cline to Ray Charles. Kate has been awarded “Vocalist of the Year” and “Ensemble of the Year” from Earshot Magazine and after her move to Wisconsin in 2021, has been nominated for several WAMI awards including Female Vocalist of the year, Instrumentalist of the year, Jazz Performer of the Year, and Free Reed Player of the Year.
Sue Russell and Standard Issue-This group pulls out the American Songbook of legendary jazz songs for this event. The band features Jeff Stoll on key/pedalboards, Bill Schmidt on drums, Joe Turano on sax, and the vocal stylings of Susan Russell.
G-Force Band (with Members of the Blue Olives)
Jonny T Bird and the MPs belt out a soulful mix of blues and originality. Fronted by Jon “Jonny T-Bird” Neuberger since 2009 while attending Milwaukee Area Technical College. “What does MPs stand for?” you may ask. The answer is quite simple. It stands for MARINATED PUPPETS. The name of a short-lived band featuring Jonny T-Bird and some MATC classmates formed a year prior to the band we know and love today. Many MPs and shows have come and gone, yet the fresh energy delivered by Jonny and the band remains the same. With five albums and a WAMI nomination, these guys will never disappoint if you get the chance to hear them live!
Fabian Qamar Duo-Fabian has been around the music called jazz since before he was born and he has been fascinated with it as long as he can remember. The son of the late jazz and world music luminary Nadi Qamar (aka Spaulding Givens) and actress, dancer, and singer Rose Qamar, Fabian is active as a singer, multi-instrumentalist, teacher, arranger, improvisor, composer, and conductor. Believing music can be viewed as the original language, he embraces musical realms from the church to the club, from the concert hall to pickup jam sessions, and from American music to world music. But—in a unique way—the music called jazz has called relentlessly and irresistibly and held a deep and constant place in his soul. For Fabian performing Jazz is the answer to that call, reveling in the sheer fun of making good music with good musicians for other human beings to enjoy.
Janice and Joe Quartet-With over 20 years of making music together across the Midwest, Janice and Joe and their band have become beloved performers at Wisconsin’s premier conventions, fairs, theaters, casinos, clubs, fundraisers, and festivals. Their versatile repertoire spans everything from soulful jazz to energetic big band swing, R&B, country, rock & roll, and more—delivering the perfect soundtrack for any event.
The Gypsy Swing Chicks revel in the catchy music of George Gershwin and Django Reinhardt with wild ethnic music added to the mix. Featuring violin, mandolin-dobro, accordion, and upright bass to ignite an engaging time for all.
Chalk Down Trio is a jazz band formed in Oshkosh Wisconsin. Guitarist Alec Riegsecker, Bassist Andrew Wilson, and Drummer Ryan Thomas met attending shows in the area. The three quickly became friends and started playing as a group. Their repertoire consists of straight-ahead swing, Latin, and funk-fusion music. There are even originals thrown into the mix!
Paul Sucherman and the Doghouse Band with Erin Krebs: WAMI Award nominated Paul Sucherman’s DOGHOUSE BIG BAND has performed all over Wisconsin and the Chicago area playing concerts, dances, weddings and clinics for well over a decade. Featuring 12 time WAMI award winning vocalist ERIN KREBS, they are a versatile ensemble that performs as a 10 piece to 21 piece orchestra.
Jimmy Ray & The Hippsters is a blues-forward trio featuring the incredible talents of Doug Grube on drums, and Steve Cohen on harmonica, with Jimmy Ray on acoustic guitar and vocals. All three musicians are well-known to live music fans in Wisconsin and elsewhere. Jimmy Ray began strumming chords in 1967 in Sheboygan. Since then, he has worked as a soloist, in bands and accompanying performers throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, Alabama, and Ohio. Jimmy plays a mixed bag of old school blues, swing, and Americana on both acoustic and electric guitar as his many recordings demonstrate. When he’s not playing with the Hippsters, Doug drums with Uncle Meat, The Sargentones, The Buffalo Joe Band, and The Fusion Project. For decades, Steve Cohen has been the leader of the LeRoy Airmaster Band, the venerated Milwaukee blues combo seen on stages big and small at festivals and all around the city. Steve is also the author of several books on playing the harmonica published by Hal Leonard. Together these three musicians have built a unique sound around their stellar instrumental talents and Jimmy’s songwriting and creative song arrangements. A feature of their performances is the instrumental interplay that happens spontaneously between these virtuoso players, bringing a fresh take on everything they perform.

This performance offers the greater Plymouth community an opportunity to experience the culmination of her undergraduate studies in classical guitar prior to her official graduation recital.
