he Plymouth Arts Center opened a new art exhibit in Gallery 110 North on Friday, May 7th. “Alive in the Arts” is the organization’s 26th annual juried exhibition showcasing Wisconsin Fine Artists. Artist Bonnita Budysz was the juror for this competition. She reviewed artwork from artists living and working throughout the state of Wisconsin and has chosen 80 pieces for this show representing 57 artists. The public is invited to attend the opening reception Friday, May 7th from 5-7 pm. Live musical entertainment will be provided courtesy of Katie Christensen, piano; Emmie Christensen, violin, from 5:00-5:45 pm and Dan Ognavic, piano, from 5:45-6:30pm. There will complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. “Alive in the Arts” will be on display through August 6, 2021. The show is generously underwritten by Conrad and Barbara Barrows, Wisconsin Bank and Trust, 20/20 Visions/ Dr. Sharon Roberts and Dr. Brad Wicklund, and the Wisconsin Arts Board.

The public is invited to view the exhibition beginning Friday, May 7th. The opening reception will be held from 5-7pm with live musical entertainment and complimentary appetizers. There will be a cash bar. Guests are required to follow PAC guidelines posted at our entrances and on our website when visiting the gallery, and gift shop. “Alive in the Arts” will be on display through August 6, 2021. The “Mill Street Live” Summer Musical Series is celebrating its 13th year of fantastic performances at the Plymouth Arts Center in downtown Plymouth, WI. “Mill Street Live” is a high energy song and dance musical revue and is regarded as one of the most entertaining summer shows in the area. With music from the past six decades, there is something for everyone in the audience to enjoy. Featured genres are Rock n’ Roll (old and new,) Country, Jazz, Blues, and more. Seven Friday shows will be performed at the Arts Center at 7:30pm. Join us for the season opener on Friday, June 25th.

Tickets available for preferred bench seating which will be close to the stage and concession stand. Lawn chair seating will also be available with a suggested donation of a minimum of $5 per person. After a quiet year of no performances the Kids From Wisconsin’s 53rd year will present “Live! In Living Color”. The show will highlight the greatest live music venues throughout the history of this country and the musical artists that helped define their legacies. The Ed Sullivan Theater, Caesars Palace, The Grand Ole Opry, House of Blues, and Broadway just to name a few. The brilliant costumes and magnificent talent of the high energy dancers and musicians will be something to marvel and take you back to those musical moments. An iconic Kids From Wisconsin performance is a professional, fully staged Vegas-style performance designed for a multi-generational audience. The group tours the Midwest and will perform to over 120,000 over a summer.
