PAC 25th Anniversary
This original oil painting of Joan Kohn was created by the late Artist Robert Heuel, O.P.A. Bob donated it to the Plymouth Arts Center in memory of Joan.
Joan M. Kohn was a founding member of the Plymouth Art Foundation, now known as the Plymouth Arts Center. Joan served actively on the Board of Directors continuously from the beginning of the organization through 1998. She was the driving force and the creative genius responsible in great part for the development of the visual arts programming for the organization and the credible reputation earned by Gallery 110 North. In her own right, Joan was a nationally known fiber artist and was listed in 100 People Who Shaped Sheboygan County. Her mission was to enliven the spirit of visual arts, to encourage the continual growth and bold ventures of artists working in all forms of media, and to enrich the lives of all who experience their work. She is greatly missed…
