Click Here to View and Print Veteran’s Tribute Concert Poster The Plymouth Arts Center is pleased to present a brand-new musical tribute show to honor and show appreciation to our nation’s veterans for their service and for defending our freedom. Veterans, Active Military Personnel and the General Public are invited to attend. “A Veterans Tribute Concert” is a variety show featuring military and patriotic songs from our country’s 245-year history. The show is coordinated and directed by Julie Overby and will showcase over 30 community performers who are sharing their time and talent to thank our vets. Four shows will be presented: Saturday, November 5 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 6 at 2:30 p.m. (Note: Daylight Saving Time,) Saturday, November 12 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 13, at 2:30 p.m. The show is sponsored by Sargento, the Kohler Foundation, Paul and Kathy Sartori, and the Wisconsin Arts Board.
Veterans and active military personnel may register with the Plymouth Arts Center before October 1st to receive a complimentary ticket. Community members and businesses who wish to “Sponsor a Vet” by purchasing a Vet’s show ticket/s are encouraged to contact the Plymouth Arts Center as soon as possible. Included in the program will be songs with historical narratives such as Ballad of the Green Berets, novelty songs, Snoopy and the Red Baron, U.S.O. and movie show tunes, Gee, I Wish I Were Back in the Army, patriotic tunes, Over There, songs of remembrance, Shores of Normandy, and many more! A traditional “Armed Forces Salute,” (when veterans of military branches stand for recognition,) will be presented during the show as well as a few sing-a-long numbers.
Veteran’s Day is described as a national holiday observed on Nov. 11. It honors veterans for their patriotism and service. In 1918, fighting between the Allied Nations and Germany ended at 11 a.m. Nov. 11, and the Treaty of Versailles was signed the following June, officially ending World War I.

Friday, March 27th, 6:30 PM, Tickets $5 Students, $10 Adults. Plymouth native, Annika Nelson, a student at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, will present a special senior recital as she prepares for graduation. This performance offers the greater Plymouth community an opportunity to experience the culmination of her undergraduate studies in classical guitar prior to her official graduation recital.
