Rhythm & Rhyme, a new musical production created by the Youth Theatre Company in partnership with the Plymouth Arts Center, will feature a talented cast of fourteen teenagers from the local Plymouth area. Rhythm & Rhyme, a fun yet fancy occasion, is an upbeat collection of show tunes, classic songs, poetry, rhythm and dance, from Gershwin to Disney, and STOMP to Jail House Rock. Rhythm and Rhyme will be performed in the intimate setting of the Plymouth Arts Center and all performances will feature a wine and cheese reception prior to each show. Singers and dancers include; Emily Azzalino. Laura Bunke, Austin Hernandez, Kelsey McManus, Clifford Newton, Robert Peschke, Greg Poser, Sam Reinke, Julia Rizzi, Logan Roy, Mike Ruggles, Allison Scherer, Elizabeth Sommer and Stephanie Stanczyk, all of the local Plymouth area. Music will be provided by local musicians Cindy Howley, piano, Bob McManus, bass and keyboards, Keith Abler, guitar and harmonica, and Chris Wilson on drums and percussion. Cindy Howley is the musical director. Rhythm & Rhyme was conceived and designed by Tim and Patty Talen for the Youth Theatre Company. Patty Talen serves as stage director and choreographer. Tim Talen is the Technical Director. Vocal direction was provided by UW-Green Bay student Chris Blakeney with additional choreography provided by UW-Madison student Lara Peschke. Costume designer is Eileen Brooks and rehearsal accompanist Marcy Stanczyk and Valerie Kaat.

Friday, March 27th, 6:30 PM, Tickets $5 Students, $10 Adults. Plymouth native, Annika Nelson, a student at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, will present a special senior recital as she prepares for graduation. This performance offers the greater Plymouth community an opportunity to experience the culmination of her undergraduate studies in classical guitar prior to her official graduation recital.
