The Youth Theatre Company (YTC) announces the cast for its upcoming production of “The Pied Piper”, a classic telling of one of the most beloved stories of all time through an original musical adaption, complete with song, dance and good old-fashioned storytelling!

Performances of “The Pied Piper” will be Friday, May 9, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 11 (Mother’s Day!!) at 2:00 p.m.

Ranging in age from 8 to 80, the twenty-six-member cast includes many performers from the Plymouth area and beyond.

Featured adult actors include Jessica Ford, Andrea Gutschow, Carol Mangold, Mary Peschke, Eric Rooker, Stacey Rooker, Cristine Schellin, Jeremy Schellin, Lara Schmitz, Justin Schmitz and Tim Talen. Young actors include Brody Babler, Kinsleigh Giencke, Jensyn Lensmire, Addy Murray, Elaina Murray, Lily Grebe, Isabella Gutschow, Abbi O’Malley, Kendall Rooker, Sage Rooker, Charlie Schellin, Penelope Schmitz, Amelia Teunissen, Ava Versch and Will Versch.

“The Pied Piper” is under the direction of Patty and Tim Talen. The show was first performed as a YTC production in 1994 at the Kohler Memorial Auditorium with original music, lyrics and script by the Talens’. With jazzy upbeat music featuring the rats in black high-top tennis shoes, the performance is a unique take on a classic story!

Plymouth native, Annika Nelson, a student at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, will present a special senior recital as she prepares for graduation. This performance offers the greater Plymouth community an opportunity to experience the culmination of her undergraduate studies in classical guitar prior to her official graduation recital.
