Overview: Calling all Sheboygan County youth artists! The Plymouth Arts Center is excited to hold its first Youth Art Contest, entitled “If You Just Smile.” Artists are encouraged to submit a piece of art work that depicts this description. Mediums include, but are not limited to, painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, printmaking, multimedia, and more! There will be 3 age groupings: 0-6 years old, 7-12 years old, and 13-18 years old. Our goal is help you showcase and celebrate your artwork!

Eligibility: Youth Artist must reside in Sheboygan County and be 18 years old or younger by July 1, 2020

Style:  “If You Just Smile” artwork should reflect the artist’s interpretation of that phrase. Submissions are encouraged to be a celebration of Sheboygan County and should not be created as an advertisement.    Submission Requirements:
All submissions must include the following: 

  1. A completed entry form 
  2. The piece of work depicting “If You Just Smile” clearly labeled with artist’s name
  3. Brief description of submitted work Submissions must be turned into the PAC office no later than Tuesday, June 30th at 3pm.

Selection Process:

  1. A panel of judges will review all submissions and select their top 3 pieces in each age category. 
  2. Prizes will be awarded to the first place winner in each of the age categories. All submissions will be in a special display at the PAC this fall.
  3. The panel will also choose the Grand Champion Artist, which will be the favorite of all submissions. This artist will receive a grand prize of a free art workshop at the PAC (valued up to $100).

Plymouth, Wisconsin: The Plymouth Arts Center, a vibrant hub for artistic expression in downtown Plymouth, is thrilled to announce it is presenting a rummage sale on Saturday, July 12, from 10am to 3pm during the Mill Street Festival. The sale is open to the public and will be held in the PAC classroom.

The Kids From Wisconsin have curated a Summer playlist to accompany the season, bringing together the most iconic and sun-drenched medleys that transport you to lazy beach days, family road trips, backyard barbecues, and late-night sing-a-long bonfires. Join us for throwbacks of Woodstock, celebrating our Nation’s Birthday, 4th of July, those iconic summer movie blockbuster musical scores, warm sand beach tunes and so much more- enjoyed for all ages. The Plymouth Show, presented by the Plymouth Arts Center will be held at the Plymouth High School Auditorium on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at 3:00pm. Tickets for reserved seats will be on sale soon!
