The JUROR for this annual juried competition is BONNITA BUDYSZ. Bonnita’s highly acclaimed, internationally awarded paintings are widely exhibited and sought after by private and corporate collectors, fine galleries, and museums alike and consistently garner prestigious awards at the American Impressionist Society, Oil Painters of America, and the Pastel Society of the West Coast. International Artist Magazine, American Artist, Art of the West, Plein Air Magazine, and Wisconsin Trails chose to showcase her work and inspired way of going. As founder of the ecologically sensitive Plein Air painting group Water’s Edge Artists, and with the launch of the Water Dance Project, she continues to champion conservation issues. As an innovative and creative presence, our efforts involve layers of teamwork and camaraderie. We have relied on effective and caring leadership to help guide our preservation path. Each leader weaves their own knowledge and experiences into the fabric of the group, building upon and then expanding possibilities for partnering and community collaboration. As an exemplary leader, Kitty Lynne Klich has shared her vision with passion and clarity. With this Memorial Tribute and Exhibition of on-site (plein air), and studio artworks, WEA is privileged to partner with the Plymouth Arts Center to honor Kitty’s Legacy of Leadership..
