Join local artist and educator Alexis Hardin for an introduction to the art of wreath making, Sat., June 17, 2023 from 10:00am to12:00pm. Pre-Register by June 6th. Class fee is: $40 per student ($38 PAC member.)This class will allow participants to create their own 12” grapevine wreath using summer themed embellishments, ribbon, and picks to create a piece of art attendees will be proud to display! Participants will learn how to attach embellishments using both wire and glue. They will also learn the art of placement to create an aesthetically pleasing wreath! Your wreath will display your unique style as it’s your choice of materials and colors. Feel free to bring your ideas and embellishments as well, as Alexis will be able to help participants make their visions come true! Enjoy a Mimosa and a pastry! Wreath and all supplies are included.
A Plymouth native, Alexis has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English education from Lakeland College and a Masters of Science in Higher Education Student Affairs from Cardinal Stritch University. Alexis has experience with all age levels as she currently works for the Sheboygan Area School District. When she is not teaching, her primary passion has been making wreaths of all different types. She currently works with grapevine, foam, and wire bases to ensure her customers always have options. Her favorite part of the process is creating custom wreaths based on pictures and conversations had with her customers. She loves to hunt for the right supplies to replicate the desired wreath and takes pride in knowing her wreaths are featured on houses around the county.

$5 per student upon arrival. Open Classroom at the Plymouth Arts Center for all ages, Elementary through High School. Various stations will be set up. Education Coordinator, Liz Higgins, will be on hand to answer questions and provide guidance.
