Summer Camps, Youth
An art project based day camp, join local SASD art teacher, Mary, as she helps you create fun, whimsical, & imaginative masterpieces. Pre-registration is required to have supplies ready. *A $5.00 supply fee– due on the first day of camp
3 Day Camps are $65 ($60 PAC member) per student
Session E: Drawing July 5-7—Come explore drawing techniques! We will use a variety of materials to learn how create cartoons, animals, and a variety of whimsical creatures!
Session F: Painting July 10-12— Painting class that will include a variety of creations. Paper, canvas, faces, maybe even a rummage sale find! Come paint and experience art making!
4 Day Camps are $85 ($80 PAC Member) per student
Session G: Sculpture July 17-20 — Paper mache to sewing a piece of pizza! Come and learn some new art creations. Explore, create, and have fun!
Session H: Mixed Media July 24-27— Let’s explore making puppets! We will be creating a new friend for a life time! It will involve using paper mache, painting, and maybe some sewing!
Mary Starnitcky has worked as an award-winning artist and educator for the past 30 years. Graduating from UW Stout, and with her master’s from National Louis University, Mary’s work has been on exhibit in Sheboygan and Madison. She also has been involved with many local organizations including Girl Scouts, 4-H, and Love Bowls. She believes, “Students have so much to offer in a variety of the arts, they just need a little guiding hand to let it out.”

$5 per student upon arrival. Open Classroom at the Plymouth Arts Center for all ages, Elementary through High School. Various stations will be set up. Education Coordinator, Liz Higgins, will be on hand to answer questions and provide guidance.
