10 am-11:30 am

One day workshops, Adults

MEMORIES IN THE MAKING® is the signature art program of the Alzheimer’s Association, introduced in 1988, that allows individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias to express themselves through art, and communicate or share the essence of who they are. Care partners and those living with mild cognitive impairment, early-stage Alzheimer’s or dementia, can join in an art session led by an instructor, in a comfortable social gathering that allows people experiencing memory loss and their loved ones to connect, socialize, and build new support networks. Meeting location rotates each month between Generations, Uptown Social, and Plymouth Arts Center. All art supplies are provided. Pre-registration is required by calling: 800-272-3900.

The schedule is as follows:

  • May 12 at Generations, 1500 Douglas Drive, Plymouth
  • June 9 at Uptown Social, 1817 N. 8th Street, Sheboygan
  • July 14 at Generations
  • August 11 at Uptown Social
  • September 8 at the Plymouth Arts Center, 520 E. Mill St. Plymouth
  • October 13 at Uptown Social
