One day workshops, Youth

A project based class, join local SASD art teacher, Mary, as she helps you create fun, whimsical, and imaginative creations! Supplies are included and you’ll take home your masterpieces at the end of class! Create a Trick or Treat Monster Painting. Pre-registration by October 10th is required to have supplies ready. Students in Grades 1-6 are welcome to register. Classes are $23 per student ($20 PAC Member.) All supplies included!

Meet the Teacher

Mary Starnitcky

Mary Starnitcky has worked as an award winning artist and educator for the past 30 years. Graduating from UW Stout, and with her master’s from National Louis University, Mary’s work has been on exhibit in Sheboygan and Madison. She also has been involved with many local organizations including Girl Scouts, 4-H and Love Bowls. She believes, “Students have so much to offer in a variety of the arts, they just need a little guiding hand to let it out.”

Students, not sure what to do on your day off from School? Have fun with a family member to create a beautiful Woven Indian Corn centerpiece. Basket weaver and educator, Kathy Plahmer, will take you through the steps, using traditional basket weaving techniques, to create a unique work of art.
