Wisconsin Artists Invited to Apply For Gallery 110 North’s 29th Annual Juried Art Exhibit

PLYMOUTH, WI….Wisconsin professional artists and Wisconsin residents for whom fine art is an avocation, are invited to submit entries for Gallery 110 North’s 29th Annual Juried Exhibit, “Alive in the Arts.” Artists must be 18 years and over to enter. Open to all two and three-dimensional fine art media including, but not limited to, pastel, painting, sculpture, graphite, drawing, photography, fiber, ceramics, metal, glass, wood, paper, jewelry, leather, printmaking and mixed media. (Please note: the PAC will accept jpeg images saved to CD’s, flash or thumb drives.) Postmarked deadline for entries is Friday, March 8, 2024. Awards for this show will be determined at the Juror/Judge’s discretion from the actual work. $1000 in cash awards will be presented. “Alive in the Arts” will open on Friday, May 3, 2024 with a festive reception beginning at 5:00 and an awards ceremony at 6:00pm. The exhibition will be on display through August 2nd. The JUROR for this annual juried competition is Hector Acuna. Hector is a professional artist and educator living in Grafton, Wisconsin. He studied at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2015 before completing his Master of Fine Arts from Michigan State University in 2020. Hector has taught art classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, and color/design for private lessons, group workshops, and at the university level.

Gallery 110 North is located in the Plymouth Arts Center, 520 E. Mill Street in historic downtown Plymouth. Regular PAC hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10am to 4pm. The public is invited to attend the opening reception Friday, May 3rd from 5-7:30 pm. Enjoy complimentary appetizers and desserts along with live music. “Alive in the Arts” will be on display through August 2, 2024. Awards for this show are determined at the Juror/Judge’s discretion from the actual work. The winning artists will be recognized during the opening reception Awards Ceremony at 6:00pm. Cash awards totaling $1000 and Merit Awards will be presented.
