The Youth Theatre Company in cooperation with The Plymouth Arts Center, announces the cast for the upcoming summer musical production of “Badger Tales!” a celebration of all that is Wisconsin in both story and song. Produced by the Youth Theatre Company, the original show will feature the talents of nearly 30 youth and adults from the Plymouth area. “On Wisconsin”, “If you Want to Be a Badger” and “The Lumberjacks of Old”, will be some of the Wisconsin favorites performed as part of a musical tribute to the “cheesiest” state in the union! Stories and lore from Wisconsin’s vibrant (and sometimes unusual!) past will tell the tale of the Badger State in a performance created for both young and old alike. Youth Cast members from the Plymouth area include Mason Brill-Meerdink, 10, Micah Falk, 10, Jacob Gruttner, 10, Paul Hammes, 14, Isabella Hoyt, 11, Haley Hughes, 16, Kernen Jarr, 10, Connelly Jarr, 10, Rosalia Johnson, 11, Azure Maki, 12, Julia Marshall, 14, Molly McConnaha, 10, Connor McManus, 15, Riley Meyer, 10, Evan Robinson, 10, Sam Scheele, 10, Allison Schwartz, 10, Klairice Schwartz, 14, Delaney Scudella, 15, Adelynn Seymour, 10 and Davis Suckow, 11. Adult cast members include Bob Travis, Jim Wilson, Sara Ziegler, Allyson Obermeier, Sarah Jarr and Tim Talen. “Badger Tales!” is Directed and Choreographed by Patty Talen. Technical Direction is provided by Matt Endres.

The Plymouth Arts Center invites the community to slow down and savor the moment with a brand-new monthly event, Two Albums, Two Cocktails, launching on Wednesday, February 18, from 4 to 6pm and continuing on the third Wednesday of every month. This unique listening experience pairs two iconic, classic albums with two expertly crafted cocktails, creating the perfect midweek escape. Guests are encouraged to simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the music as it was meant to be heard—without interruptions.

Friday, March 27th, 6:30 PM, Tickets $5 Students, $10 Adults. Plymouth native, Annika Nelson, a student at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, will present a special senior recital as she prepares for graduation. This performance offers the greater Plymouth community an opportunity to experience the culmination of her undergraduate studies in classical guitar prior to her official graduation recital.
