ABOUT THE ARTIST: Daniel Rizzi is a self-taught Artist specializing in both Plein Air and Studio Original Oil Paintings. He takes part in Plein Air paint outs and Plein Air competition events. Past group memberships include WIPAPA, and WEA plein air groups. Local Plein Air painters have established a statewide fellowship of artists dedicated to promoting and practicing the traditional discipline of Plein Air painting (painting outdoors, from life). Daniel also works in his home studio to create original Studio oil paintings working from reference sketches or photos. By using sketches, one photo, or by combining photos, he works to create pleasing compositions. This unique combining of photos has been a favorite of commissioned art buyers.
