Almost Maine, a magical romantic comedy by John Cariani inventively explores the mystery of the human heart, touching audiences with laughter, heartbreak and hope. The Valentine’s Dinner Show features a Buffet Dinner catered by Millhome Supper Club including dessert, a cocktail and the show. Tickets are $36 per person with tax and gratuity included. Almost, Maine, cast members are: Tom Clegg; Denise Wilson; EJ Schoenborn; Geoff Schuh; Wendy Schuh; Dan Mahlendorf; Renee Wachuta; JaLynn Schuh; and Kerrylynn Kraemer, (director.) Technical support is provided by Bill Johnston.

On a cold……clear… .moonless……night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost, Maine’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream. “A whimsical approach to the joys and perils of romance. Magical happenings bloom beneath the snowdrifts. ALMOST, MAINE explores the thunderclap of love and the scorched earth that sometimes follows.” The New York Times. “Thornton Wilder crossed with ‘The Twilight Zone.’ When the northern lights appear in the sky and the characters shine with the joyfulness of love, it’s hard not to believe that the wintry air of northern Maine isn’t the cure for heartache.” The New York Post. “A thoroughly entertaining midwinter’s tale of loves lost, found, and confounded.” The Kalamazoo (MI) Gazette
