SUMMER ART CAMPS WITH LIZ HIGGINS: MORNING SESSIONS AVAILABLE FOR GRADES 1-4 & 5-8

  • DRAWING & PAINTING: JULY 8, 9, 10 ,11 STUDENTS WILL LEARN A VARIETY OF DRAWING AND PAINTING TECHNIQUES INSPIRED BY OUR NATURAL ENVIRONMENT.

  • PRINTING & MIXED MEDIA: JULY 15, 16, 17, 18 STUDENTS WILL EXPLORE A VARIETY OF EXCITING MEDIUMS, CREATING ARTWORK INSPIRED BY NATURE.

  • SCULPTURE & MIXED MEDIA: JULY 22, 23, 24, 25 A UNIQUE FOCUS ON SCULPTURAL FORM AND SPACE, STUDENTS WILL CREATE 3-DIMENTIONAL ART.

Sept. 21– Author Tammy Stuhr Reading and Book Signing, SATURDAY, 10:00-11:00am Featuring her recent book, >Jax Finds His Talent>  about young people finding their talent and how parents can encourage the exploration of talents.  Also, an illustration drawing lesson for ages 6 and up with illustrator Cindy Sarkady.

Public Reception & Silent Auction

Paint the Towns in Fall Color

6 to 9 PM

Art, All Ages

The public is invited to view and bid on the “Paint the Towns” paintings at a festive reception and silent auction on Friday, October 9 from 6pm to 9pm. This is a free admission reception with live music by Max Becker and complimentary appetizers and desserts. It is a great opportunity to meet the participating artists and to bid on a favorite piece until 9:00pm. After the reception and silent auction, the unsold works will remain in the Arts Center’s Gallery 110 North through November 13, 2026 and be for sale at a “Buy it Now” retail price. All proceeds of this event benefit the Plymouth Arts Center, a charitable 501c3 non-profit organization.
