PRE-SCHOOL (AGE 3-5) IRISH DANCE CLASSES FOR KIDS THIS SUMMER

USE THIS LINK FOR PRE-SCHOOL (AGES 3-5) - The Plymouth Arts Center is thrilled to announce that Beginning Irish Dance Classes will be offered this summer for children ages 3 to 8+. This exciting six-week course is your child’s chance to step into the enchanting world of Irish dance. Classes will take place on Wednesdays at the PAC from June 11 through July 16. The course will be led by local instructor, Hannah Harvey. This pilot program is designed to gauge the community’s interest in Irish dance and is perfect for students new to this vibrant art form. About the Class: Welcoming Lads and Lasses for Beginning Irish Dance. The PreSchool Group (age 3-5) will meet from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm, the course fee is $100. The Beginner A Group (age 6-8) will meet from 5:00 to 5:30 pm, course fee is $100. Beginner B (age 8+) will meet from 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm, course fee is $120. This short session will focus on the fundamentals (focus on the FUN!) of Irish dance, using games and skill-building activities while adhering to our three tenets of technique, teamwork, and tradition.

Students will need… • Clothes that are easy to move in • Black ballet slippers, black jazz shoes, or Irish Dance shoes (Gillies) • A water bottle

About the Instructor: Hannah Harvey is passionate about making dance accessible to everyone—especially young children. With a self-taught background and a love for Irish culture and tradition, Hannah creates a welcoming, judgment-free space where kids can build confidence, find their rhythm, and have fun. Her teaching style focuses on simplicity, encouragement, and celebrating progress at every step.

The official dedication ceremony will be conducted by the Ladewig-Zinkgraf American Legion Post 243 and will include the American Legion Color Guard, patriotic presentations, and remarks highlighting the history and significance of the American flag. The public is warmly invited to attend.
