Wisconsin Artists Invited to Apply For Gallery 110 North’s 27th Annual Juried Art Exhibit Click Here for a copy of the Alive in the Arts Prospectus PLYMOUTH, WI…. Wisconsin professional artists and Wisconsin residents for whom fine art is an avocation, are invited to submit entries for Gallery 110 North’s 27th Annual Juried Exhibit, “Alive in the Arts.” Artists must be 18 years and over to enter. Open to all two and three-dimensional fine art media including, but not limited to, pastel, painting, sculpture, graphite, drawing, photography, fiber, ceramics, metal, glass, wood, paper, jewelry, leather, printmaking and mixed media. Postmark deadline for entries is March 11, 2022. (Please note: the PAC will accept jpegs saved to CD’s, flash or thumb drives.) “Alive in the Arts” will open on Friday, May 6, 2022 with a festive reception beginning at 5:00 and an awards ceremony at 6:30pm. The exhibition will be on display through August 5th. The JUROR for this annual juried competition is Denise Presnell. Denise is a painter/mixed media artist currently living and working in Sheboygan, WI. She earned her BFA in Printmaking from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and her MFA in Painting from the Pennsylvania State University. Graduate school was followed by 31 years of teaching art on the college/university level. 27 of those years were spent teaching art at Lakeland University. Denise’s work has been exhibited in over one hundred solo, group, and competitive exhibitions across the United States as well as exhibitions in Tokyo, Botswana, Kenya, and Shanghai.

Awards for this show will be determined at the Juror/Judge’s discretion from the actual work. $1000 in cash awards will be presented.

The Alive in the Arts Annual Juried show is generously underwritten by Wisconsin Bank and Trust, Robert & Phyllis Hoopman, and 20/20 Visions, Dr. Sharon Roberts and Dr. Brad Wicklund.

Gallery 110 North is located in the Plymouth Arts Center, 520 E. Mill Street in historic downtown Plymouth. Regular gallery hours are: Tuesday-Friday, 10am to 4pm; Saturday and Sunday, Noon-3:00pm. Closed Mondays and Holidays. Admission to Gallery 110 North is always free!

Public Reception & Silent Auction

Paint the Towns in Fall Color

Art, All Ages

The public is invited to view and bid on the “Paint the Towns” paintings at a festive reception and silent auction on Friday, October 9 from 6pm to 9pm. This is a free admission reception with live music by Max Becker and complimentary appetizers and desserts. It is a great opportunity to meet the participating artists and to bid on a favorite piece until 9:00pm. After the reception and silent auction, the unsold works will remain in the Arts Center’s Gallery 110 North through November 13, 2026 and be for sale at a “Buy it Now” retail price. All proceeds of this event benefit the Plymouth Arts Center, a charitable 501c3 non-profit organization.
