One day workshops, Adults
This workshop focuses on the foundational skills needed to work effectively with watercolor and ink. Students learn about brush control, wash techniques, ink line variation, layering strategies, and how to plan compositions that integrate both mediums. By the end of the class, students will complete a few pieces demonstrating their technical growth. Taking this workshop would be an incredibly enjoyable experience, full of creativity and discovery. There’s something relaxing about watching colors blend and flow across the paper, yet it’s also thrilling to experiment with new techniques and see what emerges. Each brushstroke feels a bit like an adventure, where even “mistakes” can turn into something beautiful. It would be a perfect way to unwind, express yourself, and leave with both new skills and a sense of accomplishment.

One day workshops, Adults
Joye Moon’s Watercolor Workshop will deal with exploring traditional and experimental watercolor techniques that can be incorporated into your individual style of painting. Leave your preconceived ideas of abstract painting at home but do bring along an open mind and the willingness to experiment and have fun! Joye will demonstrate every aspect of each project, breaking it down into segments so everyone can understand what the techniques are before actually painting on your own.
