Your works in progress and new ideas are welcome in this class. Lori will also have projects to help get you started. Her goal is for you to complete each piece in your own style and medium. Lori said, “I have knowledge in water medias, though my personal focus and expertise are oil and pastel painting. Hoping to work with you as we travel on this wonderful journey in art.” Bring work in progress or bring a new project. Lori will demo and give helpful guiding instruction. Thinner and paint medium, as well as easels, are provided. A supply list will be provided. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR—Lori is known for her bold brushwork whether it is a quaint building or portraits that capture the emotion of the moment. Although mostly a self-taught artist, Beringer credits workshops with fine instruction along with studio experience with Dan Gerhartz. Lori paints Plein Air throughout the year, primarily in Wisconsin, but her travels have taken her throughout the U.S., to Mexico, and to France. Recently Beringer was honored to be a part of the Faces of Wisconsin Exhibition at the Cedarburg Art Museum, WI, and was juried into the 20th Annual National American Impressionists Exhibition New York, New York. She received Portraiture Honorable Mention in the 22nd Juried National Oil Painters of America Exhibition in addition to numerous other awards over the years.

Summer Art Camps for Grades 5-8 with instructor Liz Higgins. Class time is: 10:30 am to Noon. This is an art project based day camp where each student can explore the process of the art concept selected for each session, to create fun and imaginative masterpieces.
