Meet the Teacher

Cindy Sarkady

By day, Cindy Sarkady works for UW-Madison Division of Extension as an administrator. However, her passion is watercolors. She has been painting for over 40 years and sold her first painting when she was 15. She has hung in two gallery shows in Illinois and recently, she has illustrated two children’s books. Jax Dreams of Heaven by author Tammy Stuhr came out last year. Jax Dreams of Heaven and Jax Finds His Talent will be out before Christmas. Since illustrating the children’s books, she has been taking more art classes and wanting to share her passion with others through teaching workshops.
