Paint a Holiday Ornament with Mary

One day workshops, Adults

Registration required by December 7th. Join instructor, Mary Starnitcky, as she leads a fun evening of step-by-step painting. A perfect way to unwind during the busy holiday season and a great way to cross off that last minute gift idea! Each ornament on the branch will display a family name to personalize your special gift!

Our wine and paint night makes a great friends night out or introductory experience for those who are interested in dabbling in paint!

We hope you’ll join us for an evening of creativity and holiday cheer!

Meet the Teacher

Mary Starnitcky

Mary Starnitcky has worked as an award winning artist and educator for the past 30 years. Graduating from UW Stout, and with her master’s from National Louis University, Mary’s work has been on exhibit in Sheboygan and Madison. She also has been involved with many local organizations including Girl Scouts, 4-H and Love Bowls. She believes, “Students have so much to offer in a variety of the arts, they just need a little guiding hand to let it out.”

Curtis says: “Some previous drawing experience would be helpful or if you have taken our previous course: ‘Anyone Can Learn To Draw.’ “I’ll help get you into more advanced stages of drawing with lots of tips and encouragement! Everyone’s got the ability, it just has to be learned and practiced!  We’ll cover topics such as seeing in 3 dimensions when building your structures,  perspective, proportions and rendering to give your drawings depth and life!”

“Dia de Muertos”- also known as Day of the Dead is a vibrant and colorful celebration that honors deceased loved ones in Mexico. Rather than being a somber occasion, the Day of the Dead is a joyous and festive celebration filled with music, dance, food, and art.
