Sound Celebration Chorus Show features

“Hard Hat Harmony”

Twenty-eight members of Sound Celebration, a woman’s A Capella chorus, with members from Fond du Lac, Plymouth and Sheboygan will present its 51st annual show, featuring “Hard Hat Harmony” on Friday October 20 at 7:30PM and at 2PM on Saturday, October 21 at the Plymouth Performing Arts Center, 520 E. Mill Street, Plymouth.  The performance will feature the Chorus renditions of “I’ve Been Workin’ on the Railroad,” and “Give me a Barbershop Song,” among other traditional American favorites.  These two musical Choral offerings placed the Chorus in the Silver Division in regional competitions in June.

The annual Barbershop show will feature music sung in classic Barbershop harmony, complete with jokes and jibes.  Door prizes and hand crafted “Raffle Totes” will add to the fun offering “hard hat necessities” for the price of a $5 admission ticket or a raffle ticket or two...or ten! The Tote Bag offerings include “Hard Hat Halloween,” “Building a Birthday Party,”  “Everything Wisconsin,”  “Hard Hat Toys for Tots,” “All About Men!” and “Building on Beauty Basics” among others.

A family friendly show, parents are encouraged to bring children wearing their “Construction Blues,” says Val Hunt of Fond du Lac, the show chair. “The Chorus has lots of fun working hard to present a fun, family friendly and fabulous performance!” continues Hunt, “and it starts with a family friendly $5 admission fee for the performance!”  Information about the performance or tickets may be obtained from any Chorus member or by calling Marianne Cooke @ 920-922-2137
